Terms & Conditions

By placing an order (by mail, in writing or by telephone), the following terms of delivery and payment shall be deemed accepted.
These terms and conditions are translated with Deepl.com. Legally binding is the German version.

Contract

For orders from Switzerland, the contract is concluded with Bauer Handels GmbH in Fehraltorf (Switzerland). The invoice will be issued in CHF.
For orders from the EU or worldwide, the contract is concluded with Bauer Handels GmbH in Singen/Hohentwiel (Germany). The invoice will be issued in EUR.
In special cases (e.g. articles subject to Cites, consultations etc.) orders from outside Switzerland can also be invoiced via the Swiss company.

Orders

Orders are processed in the order in which they are received. Delivery possibility remains reserved. Partial deliveries are possible in case of insufficient stock. Chemicals are partly no public products and will be delivered only to authorized persons.

Prices

All prices are exclusive of VAT, postage and packaging. We reserve the right to adjust prices due to exchange rate fluctuations or price changes of product manufacturers and suppliers.

Delivery

Deliveries are always made by means of a mode of transport at the Supplier's discretion (registered mail, cash on delivery, against prepayment or on account) at the Purchaser's risk. Invoice amounts are net, without deductions of any kind, payable within the period stated on the invoice.

Minimum order quantities

When placing an order, please ensure that the minimum order quantities (delivery units) specified in the price list are observed.

Liability

The goods travel at the expense and risk of the purchaser. In the event of damage in transit, we recommend that the purchaser immediately record the damage together with the postal clerk or carrier. Complaints regarding the quantity or condition of the goods can only be accepted if they are made no later than 5 days after receipt of the goods. Further liability claims cannot be asserted.

Small quantity surcharge

For orders from Switzerland below CHF 40.- a small quantity surcharge of CHF 8.- will be applied. For orders from the EU and worldwide under EUR 25.- a small quantity surcharge of EUR 6.- will be applied.

Retention of title

The goods remain the property of the supplier until full payment has been received.

Claims

The Supplier expressly reserves the right to assign to third parties any claims it may have against the Purchaser.

Place of performance and jurisdiction

Swiss company: Place of performance for delivery and payment is Fehraltorf ZH (Switzerland). The exclusive place of jurisdiction for both parties is Fehraltorf ZH, or Pfäffikon ZH (Switzerland).
German company: Place of performance for delivery and payment is Singen/Hohentwiel (Germany). Exclusive place of jurisdiction for both parties is Singen/Hohentwiel (Germany).
